Congratulations on deciding to become a caregiver! We are proud to welcome you into our family of professional caregivers and instructors whom will guide you on your caregiving journey. 

Most likely, you've already received your CNA license. Our program does not license caregivers, nor does it endorse any specific program. What we do is teach you how to be a caregiver. You can perform any skill in the world, but if you don't have the right bedside manner, you'll never gain enough trust to use them. You want people to smile when they see you at work. You want them to ask when you will be there again. You want them to say, "I've missed you," when you return. All of those things mean you are doing well. When you graduate from the Heart 2 Hands Caregiving Academy, we know 100% that you have what it takes to succeed as a caregiver. Not only do you have skills, but you also have heart! You have compassion. You have empathy. You have an openness and a willingness to learn and love beyond measure. 

As a caregiver, you are going to deal with many types of people and many different situations. You will have to adjust. You will have to meet them where they are. You will have to conform to their needs or desires. Sometimes, you may have to sit with them and listen. You'll be a source of comfort as well as a source of care. Caregiving is not just physical. It's mental, emotional, psychological and physical. As a Heart 2 Hands caregiver, you are bringing your unique skills and compassion to someone who needs it.
